Strategy development

Le Garçon perdu has been engaged to develop a procurement strategy for a multibillion dollar project in the Southern Hemisphere. Working as part of a small team, we will work with multiple stakeholders in several organisations to develop a procurement strategy for a challenging project focused upon reconciling time, cost and quality.

I worked on a pro bono basis for a charity to help develop a road map for the introduction of the new role of Chief Procurement Officer. I helped facilitate a team of stakeholders to a shared understanding of the role and contribution of procurement, and develop a clear road map for the next steps in the evolution of the procurement function in the organisation.

These are examples of two key attributes; functional understanding at the highest level and the engagement and influence to align stakeholders in complex, challenging assignments.
